Day 01: Bangalore Arrival
On day 01 of your South Indian Fantasy Tour, arrive at Bangalore airport where our representative meets you and escorts you to the hotel. Proceed for a half-day city sightseeing tour at noon covering Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park and Lal Bagh. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 02: Bangalore - Mysore
The princely town of Mysore is the next destination in your South India travel. Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Mysore (140 km/3 hrs). Sightseeing at Srirangapatnam and Tippu's Summer Palace on the way. Continue drive to Mysore and check in to hotel upon arrival. Leave for a post-lunch sightseeing tour of St. Philomina's Church and the manicured Brindavan Gardens. Night stay at hotel.
Day 03: Mysore
Proceed for a full day sightseeing tour after breakfast. Start with a visit to the 13th century Somanathapur Temple (1 hr/40 km) and then proceed to the Chamundi Hills, Zoo Gardens and Mysore Maharaja Palace. Enjoy shopping in the evening and then retire to the hotel for night stay.
Day 04: Mysore - Ooty
South Indian Fantasy Tour today takes you to the enchanting hill station of Ooty. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Ooty by road (175 km/5 hrs). Halt midway for a short visit to Bandipur and Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuaries. Continue drive to Ooty and check in to hotel upon arrival. Proceed for a post lunch visit to the landscaped Botanical Gardens and Ooty Lake. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 05: Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty
Today morning we take you on an excursion to yet another picturesque hill station of Coonoor that is truly a must visit in all tours to South India. Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer by road to Coonoor perched at 1858 m (6100 ft). Evening drive back to Ooty and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Ooty - Kodaikanal
The beautiful hill resort Kodaikanal is the next destination in your South India travel plan and you check out from hotel after breakfast to drive to Kodaikanal (275 km/7 hrs). Check in to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 07: Kodaikanal
Leave for a post breakfast sightseeing tour including Bryant Park, Kodaikanal Lake and Cocker's Walk. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 08: Kodaikanal
You have another day in Kodaikanal to enjoy your South Indian Fantasy Tour to the hilt. Relax throughout the day and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 09: Kodaikanal - Madurai
The exquisite temple town of Madurai is a part of all South India tour packages. Today we check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Madurai. Transfer to hotel upon arrival. Later visit the famous Shree Meenakshi Temple that is a must visit during tours to South India. Also visit the museum displaying temple artifacts and then return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 10: Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai
After breakfast, we take you on a full day excursion to Rameshwaram, another famous temple town of South India. The beautiful island is shaped as a conch and is located off the Tamil Nadu coast. Evening return to Madurai and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 11: Madurai - Kanyakumari
South Indian Fantasy Tour today proceeds to Kanyakumari lying at the southernmost tip of India. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Kanyakumari by road (260 km/6 hrs). Upon arrival, check in to hotel. Later visit the Kanyakumari Temple and Swami Vivekananda Statue Island. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 12: Kanyakumari - Trivandrum
Tour to South India now proceeds to Kerala and after breakfast, you check out from hotel to head straight to the capital city Trivandrum (90 km/2 hrs). On arrival, check in to hotel located besides the Kovalam beach that can't be missed in South India tour packages. Remaining day at leisure on the beach and night stay at hotel.
Day 13: Trivandrum
Leave for a post breakfast city sightseeing tour covering the very famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Zoo, Museum and Art Gallery. Return to the hotel in the evening and stay for the night.
Day 14: Trivandrum - Kovalam - Trivandrum
You have the entire day today to enjoy at the picturesque Kovalam beach. Take a pleasant stroll along the golden sands with your loved one or simply relax watching the azure blue waters flow by. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 15: Trivandrum - Cochin
Cochin is the final stopover in your South Indian Fantasy Tour. Check out from hotel post breakfast and transfer to Cochin by road (250 km/6 hrs). Check in to hotel upon arrival. Spend the remaining day at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 16: Cochin
We take you on a post breakfast city sightseeing tour. Visit the numerous ancient churches and temples in the city and relive the glorious bygone era. Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 17: Cochin
Day free for independent activities or to relax at leisure. Night stay in Cochin.
Day 18: Cochin Departure
South Indian Fantasy Tour ends today and you check out from hotel after breakfast to drive to the airport where our representative assists you in boarding the scheduled flight back home or for onward journey.
