Day 01: Arrival in Chennai
Arrive at the Chennai Airport, where our representative will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 02: Chennai - Mahabalipuram
Begin the 2nd day of your Grand South India Tours with a healthy breakfast and then head for Mahabalipuram enroute Kanchipuram, known for its hand woven silk fabrics. Check in at the hotel and after getting fresh pay visit to the Shore Ekambasreshwar Temple and Vaikunta Perumal Temple. Spend the rest of the day on the beach. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mahabalipuram
Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Day 3rd of your Grand South India Tour begins with a sumptuous breakfast after which you will head for Pondicherry. Afternoon will be reserved for a half-day city tour to Aurobindo Ashram and Museum. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Pondicherry.
Day 04: Pondicherry - Thanjavur
Post breakfast drive your way to Thanjavur also called Tanjore. In the afternoon head for a half-day city tour in the isit the Thanjavur Palace & Museum and Brihadeshwara Fort & Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Thanjavur.
Day 05: Thanjavur/ Trichy
Begin the 5th day of your Grand South India Tour with a sumptuous breakfast and then drive to Trichy. Visit Srirangam Temple and Jambukeshwara Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Trichy.
Day 06: Trichy - Madurai
Having breakfast drive to Madurai. Arrive at Madurai and spend the rest of your day at your own leisure. Have an overnight stay at your hotel in Madurai.
Day 07: Madurai
Post breakfast go on a half-day city tour with an India Holiday representative. Visit the famous Meenakshi Temple and Tirumalai Nayak Palace. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 08: Madurai - Periyar
Post breakfast head to Periyar. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride aboard the Periyar Lake. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 09: Periyar – Trivandrum - Kovalam
Have a healthy breakfast and then head to Kovalam enroute visiting Trivandrum. Arrive at Kovalam and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Have an overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam
Spend the 10th day of your Grand South India Tours relaxing on the beach. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 11: Kovalam – Kumarakom
Post breakfast head to Kotayam. Arrive in Kotayam and board the houseboat cruising your way to Kumarakom. Explore the breathtaking beauty on your way to Kumarakom. Arrive in Kumarakom and have an overnight stay.
Day 12: Kumarakom
Having breakfast visit the Bird Sanctuary in Kumarakom. Spend the rest of the day exploring the natural beauty of the destination. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 13: Kumarakom – Cochin
Post breakfast board Houseboat in Kumarakom backwaters and cruise your way to Alleppey. Arrive at Alleppey and then get transferred to Cochin located at a distance of about 60 kms. Arrive there and rest in your hotel room. Have an overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 14: Cochin
Post breakfast head for a sightseeing tour in Cochin escorted by our representative. Visit places like Fort Cochin, St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 15: Cochin – Bangalore – Mysore
Begin the 15th day of your Grand South India Tour with a healthy breakfast and then get transferred to the airport to board the flight for Bangalore. Arrive at Bangalore and get escorted by our representative to your hotel. Have an overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 16: Mysore
Post breakfast go on a sightseeing tour of Mysore escorted by our representative. Visit Maharaja’s Palaces, Chamundi Hills and Somnathpur. In the evening visit Brindavan Gardens and get enchanted by its musical fountains and colorful lights. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 17: Mysore – Belur – Halebid – Hassan
Post breakfast drive to Hassan enroute Belur and Halebid. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Hassan.
Day 18: Hassan – Shravanbelagola – Bangalore
After breakfast head to Bangalore enroute visiting Shravanbelagola located at a distance of 51 kms from Hassan. Shravanbelagola is one of the most famous Jain pilgrim centers having the world’s tallest monolithic statue of Lord Bahubali.
In the afternoon visit Vidhan Saudha, Lal Bagh, Botanical Gardens and Basavanagudi in Bangalore. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Bangalore.
Day 19: Bangalore – Mumbai
Begin the 19th day of your Grand South India Tours with a healthy breakfast and then get transferred to the airport and board the flight for Mumbai. Arrive at Mumbai and escorted by our representative to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 20: Departure from Mumbai
Post breakfast get transferred to the International Airport and board the flight back home or for your further destination. Here ends your Grand South India Tour.
