Day 01: Arrival Coimbatore – Ooty
Arrive at Coimbatore airport/railway station where our representative meets you and drives you to Ooty (100 km/3 ½ hrs), the first destination of Southern India Hill Station Tours. Check in to hotel upon arrival. Relax for a while and then leave for city sightseeing tour covering Botanical Gardens, Ooty Lake and Doddabetta Peak. Later, go for shopping in and around Ooty town and then retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 02: Ooty – Coonoor – Ooty
After breakfast, leave for an excursion tour to Coonoor. Visit the lush Tea Gardens, Rose Garden, Sim's Park, Avalanche, Dolphin's Nose, Ketty Valley, Koddandu Point and Lambs Park. Return to the hotel in the evening for night stay.
Day 03: Ooty – Kodaikanal
Tour to South India Hill Stations today proceeds to Kodaikanal, the most picturesque hill town of Tamil Nadu. Check out from hotel post breakfast and drive to Kodaikanal (270 km/6 ½ hrs). Stop midway at the magnificent Palani Temples for sightseeing. Continue drive to Kodaikanal and check in to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 04: Kodaikanal
You have the entire day to spend at leisure. Visit the serene Kodaikanal Lake and enjoy boating or fishing here. You may also go sightseeing at Cocker’s Walk, Golf Links, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls and Bear Shola Falls. Return to the hotel in the evening and spend the night here.
Day 05: Kodaikanal – Munnar
The beautiful town of Munnar is the next stopover in your hill station tour package for South India. Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Munnar (160 km/5 hrs). The fragrant cardamom hills and lush tea plantations fascinate you en route. Transfer to hotel/resort upon arrival. After breakfast, relax for the remaining day. Later in the evening, enjoy a pleasant walk around the picturesque town and then retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 06: Munnar
After breakfast, we take you on a visit to Eravikulam National Park, home to Nilgiri Tahr, the rare mountain goats found in the region. Later proceed to Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, drive through the Old Munnar Town and also visit the town market. Evening at leisure and stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 07: Munnar – Cochin
The port city Cochin is the last stopover in your Southern India Hill Station Tours. Check out from hotel early morning and proceed to Cochin. Transfer to hotel upon arrival. Relax for a while and then leave for a post lunch city tour. A boat ride across the Cochin harbor takes you to the gateway of the Arabian Sea. Arrive at Fort Cochin and enjoy sightseeing on board at the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets, the major tourist sites of South India tour packages. Later, disembark from the boat and enjoy shopping at the city center. Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 08: Cochin Departure
Southern India Hill Station Tours ends today and you check out from the hotel to proceed to the airport/railway station to board scheduled flight/train for onward destination or back home.
