Day 01: Arrive at Bangalore
South Indian Odyssey starts from the garden city Bangalore. Welcome on arrival at the airport/railway station by our representative who escorts you to the hotel. Relax for a while and then proceed for a city sightseeing tour covering Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Tippu's Palace, Bull Temple, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park and Vidhana Soudha. Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 02: Bangalore - Mysore
Mysore is the next destination in your South Indian Odyssey. Check out from hotel in the morning and drive to Mysore (140 km/4 hrs). Sightseeing at Srirangapatnam, Tippu's Palace, Gumbaz and Tippu's Summer Palace en route. Continue drive to Mysore and transfer to hotel upon arrival. In the evening, visit the spectacular Brindavan Gardens illuminated at night and Krishnarajasagar Dam before returning to the hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Mysore
After breakfast, we take you to the majestic Maharaja's Palace where you spend some time admiring the royal grandeur of the bygone era. Later drive up the Chamundi Hill, the abode of Chamundeshwari Devi and also visit the large statue of Nandi Bull, St. Philomena's Church and Mysore Zoo. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 04: Mysore - Ooty
The breathtaking hill station of Ooty is a must visit in every tour to South India. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Ooty by road (160 km/5 hrs). Stop en route at the Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy game viewing from close quarters. Continue drive to Ooty and smell the sweet fragrance of lush tea gardens all through the journey. Transfer to hotel upon arrival. Relax for a while and then leave for a city sightseeing tour covering Ooty Lake, Botanical Gardens and Dodda Betta. Night stay at hotel.
Day 05: Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty
After early breakfast, leave for an excursion to the beautiful hill station of Coonoor that is another must visit in South India tour packages. Upon arrival, visit the aromatic Tea Gardens, Sim's Park and Dolphin's Nose. On the drive back to Ooty, stop for a while at some of the popular points used for movie shooting and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Ooty - Kodaikanal
The picturesque hill resort of Kodaikanal is the next stopover in your South Indian Odyssey. Check out from hotel post breakfast and drive to Kodaikanal (270 km/6 ½ hrs). Sightseeing at the exquisite Palani Temples on the way. Continue drive to Kodaikanal and transfer to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 07: Kodaikanal
Day free for independent activities. Trek around the beautiful Kodaikanal Lake or enjoy boating and fishing. You can also visit Cocker's Walk, Golf Links, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls and Bear Shola Falls. Night stay at hotel.
Day 08: Kodaikanal - Bangalore
Bangalore is the last stopover in your South India travel and you check out from hotel after breakfast to drive to Bangalore (500 km/13 hrs). Upon arrival in the evening, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Bangalore Departure
South Indian Odyssey ends today and you check out from hotel to proceed to the airport/ railway station where you board onward flight/train back home.
